Our story
Started on the roof, still on the roof
Midwest Commercial Roofing was founded by people who came up through the trade — tearing off saturated built-up systems in August and chasing leaks in February. That experience shapes how we estimate, how we schedule, and how we talk to building owners.
Our work centers on the buildings that keep the region running: distribution centers, manufacturing plants, schools, medical offices, retail centers, and municipal facilities. Those roofs cannot be closed for a week, so we plan around production schedules, tenant access, and weather windows.
We would rather keep a client for twenty years through maintenance and honest recommendations than sell one oversized replacement. That is the whole business model.

Dylan West, Owner
Dylan West brings more than 13 years of commercial roofing experience to Midwest Commercial Roofing. His background includes work with Indianapolis Roofing LLC, a locally owned roofing company serving Indianapolis, Carmel, and surrounding communities.
He leads a team of experienced roofing professionals focused on one thing: delivering high-quality commercial roofing and building envelope solutions across the Midwest. Dylan's approach is hands-on, making sure every project is scoped correctly, installed to manufacturer standards, and backed by clear communication from start to finish.

Self-performed work
The people who bid your project are the people who manage it. Our foremen are employees, not a rotating list of subs.
Diagnose before you sell
We do not quote a replacement on a roof that needs a repair. If a coating buys you eight more years, that is what we will recommend.
Everything in writing
Scope, materials, schedule, and warranty terms are documented before mobilization, and findings are photographed throughout.
Safety is not optional
OSHA-compliant fall protection, daily jobsite briefings, and trained supervision on every roof we set foot on.
